Collection: Divan Beds

A divan is the practical alternative to an ottoman: instead of lifting the whole bed, you pull out drawers from the side. It suits rooms where there is no headroom above the bed, or where you want to reach one item without unpacking everything.

Our divan bases are built as two upholstered halves that bolt together in the room, so they get up narrow staircases that a one-piece frame will not. Drawers run on smooth runners and can be specified on one side or both.

Choosing your drawer layout

Two drawers on a single side is the usual choice for a bed against a wall. Four drawers, two per side, roughly doubles capacity and suits a bed with access from both sides. Tell us which side you want them on when you order — it costs nothing to specify.

Headboards, sizes and delivery

Every divan can be matched to any headboard in our range, in 24, 54 or 60 inch heights. Sizes run Single (3ft) to Super King (6ft). Free UK delivery in 5–7 working days.
