Collection: Kids Beds

A child's bed takes more abuse than an adult's, so these are built the same way as the rest of our range rather than as a cheaper line: hardwood frame, deep padding, hand-stretched fabric. The difference is the proportions.

Headboards and side panels are padded across their whole height, so there is no hard timber edge at head or shoulder level. Designs are scaled down — buttoned chesterfield, scalloped, chevron, fluted and vertical panel — in single and small double widths that fit a standard children's room without dominating it.

Practical notes for parents

Choose a wipeable fabric if the bed is for a younger child; plush velvet cleans better than it looks like it will. A slatted base keeps the mattress ventilated, and an ottoman base turns the space underneath into toy storage that a child can reach without a drawer to trap fingers.
