Ottoman or drawers in a box room?
Look at which sides of the bed are free. In most box rooms the bed runs along one wall and the foot sits near the door or window, so an end-lift ottoman has no room to open. A side-lift ottoman opening from the free side is usually the best fit, followed by a 2-drawer divan with drawers on that side. Which headboard works in a small room?
A lower one if the ceiling is low or the bed sits under a window or sloped ceiling. Our 24 inch headboard sits just above the pillows.
