A 2 drawer divan has both drawers on one side of the base, which suits a bed pushed against a wall. A 4 drawer divan has two drawers on each side and roughly doubles the storage, but needs clear floor on both sides to open them. Tell us which side you want the drawers on when you order.

How much room do divan drawers need?
Enough to pull the drawer fully out and still stand beside it. Measure from the bed to the nearest wall, wardrobe or bedside table. If a bedside table sits where a drawer opens, that drawer will only half open. On doubles and kings, placing drawers towards the foot end often avoids the bedside table problem.
Which drawer layout is available on each size?
Our Divan Drawer Base comes with 2 or 4 drawers, depending on size; very small bases may be limited to two. The size selector on each product shows what's available. Drawers run on smooth runners and are upholstered to match the base.

Is a divan with drawers better than an ottoman?
