A headboard on its own is the cheapest way to change how a bedroom reads. These are the same hand-built, deep-padded headboards we fit to our beds, sold separately to bolt onto a divan base or an existing frame.

Choosing a height

24 inch sits just above the pillows — a neat, low-profile finish for a room with a low ceiling or a window behind the bed. 54 inch is our standard: tall enough to sit against comfortably and to make the bed the focal point of the room. 60 inch reads as a wall panel and suits high-ceilinged rooms where a standard headboard looks lost.

Designs include vertical and horizontal panel, wingback, chesterfield button-tufted, fluted and framed. All are floor-standing, so the weight sits on struts rather than pulling on the base.
