Can I change the fabric after ordering?
Yes, up to 48 hours after you order — that is when the frame enters production and the fabric is cut. Email or call with your order number and we will change it with no charge. After 48 hours the fabric is committed.
What size bed do I need?
Single 3ft (90 × 190cm) for children and box rooms.
Small Double 4ft (120 × 190cm) for a single adult who wants room, or a guest room.
Double 4ft6 (135 × 190cm) is the UK standard for two adults.
King 5ft (150 × 200cm) adds 15cm width and 10cm length — the length matters if either of you is over 6ft.
Super King 6ft (180 × 200cm) gives each sleeper the width of a single bed.
Whichever you choose, leave 70cm of clear floor on every side you walk down.
What is the delivery time and cost?
Free to mainland UK. Every bed is made to order and typically delivered in 7–10 working days.
Two people carry the bed to the room of your choice, assemble it and take the packaging away. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland add £120 and two days extra lead time.
Does the price include a mattress?
No. Frames and mattresses are priced separately so you are not paying for a mattress that is wrong for you.
You can mattress as add on on product options and then mattress with any other upgrade can be added at checkout for delivery on the same van.
Can I change or return my item?
Yes. If you'd like a different size, model or fabric, contact us within 48 hours of ordering, before your bed goes into production.
You have 30 days from delivery to return your bed. If it isn't right, contact us and we'll arrange collection and a full refund once it's re-boxed in its original packaging.
How much can the ottoman base actually hold?
In a king, roughly 800 litres: two large suitcases, a spare duvet, four pillows and a winter coat rail's worth of clothes, with room left. The cavity is 25cm deep across the full footprint of the bed and is lined and ventilated so stored bedding does not take on damp.
How should I care for the fabric?
Vacuum with a soft brush head monthly. Blot spills, never rub. Velvet and chenille recover with a soft brush once dry; bouclé should be dabbed and left alone. Never use a steam cleaner on any upholstered bed, and keep frames out of direct sunlight — every fabric fades, and velvet fades unevenly.
